Posted by Baywood Blog Team

We are seeing more and more activity in our resort community with warmer days quickly approaching and a preview of summer just around the corner. Not only is our community awakening from the winter slumber, but Baywood Greens has been featured in a variety of different publications over the last month featuring events and news. We are here to get you up to speed on everything happening, so take a look at Baywood Greens in the news below:

Golf Course Industry Magazine – “Shining in Summer”
If you’ve played a round of golf on our exclusively public golf course, you can imagine that keeping the course pristine and green is no easy task. That’s where our superintendent of 10 years, Jamie Palokas, comes to the rescue. As an experienced and crucial part of the team here at Baywood Greens, Jamie has to ensure that his staff are prepared for a variety of obstacles throughout the year. Unpredictable weather, bugs, and heat are just a few things his team has had to combat on the course over the years. Read more about how he keeps our course in tip top shape, and learn about a new addition coming soon here.

Cape Gazette – “Sarah Dickinson named director of events at The Clubhouse at Baywood”
We are so excited to welcome Sarah Dickinson as a part of our Baywood Greens family and are thrilled to see her featured in the Cape Gazette! Her extensive background in sales and marketing will be a great asset to her new role as the Director of Events, where she will handle all events at The Clubhouse, from fundraisers to weddings. Learn more about Sarah here, and be sure to say hello if you see her around our community!

Beebe Healthcare – “The Classic at Baywood Greens to Benefits Tunnel Cancer Center”
In it’s 12th year, The Classic at Baywood Greens returns on May 8th, 2017! As a heavily involved community, Baywood Greens continues to give back to local causes, such as the Tunnell Cancer Center, where this tournament benefits each year. This year, the event will feature a lunch, cocktail hour, and dinner in addition to the tournament out on the course. Visit the article on Beebehealthcare.org to learn more about this amazing cause and the tournament coming up soon!
