Last time, we showed you a look inside our booth at the bridal show.  Today, we want to share what we saw from other vendors – ideas, hot bridesmaid dresses, wedding attire alternatives, and how perfect are these bridesmaids dresses to complement our dream blush and gold wedding?!  Yes, please!

Beautiful Bridesmaid Dresses

And we went ga-ga over this dreamy blush colored wedding dress ensemble….

Would you wear a wedding dress made of paper?!  Maybe not, but how gorgeous is this..!!

How about a see-through mid-section?  Would you do it?  We love the beading detail, and the romantic softness of the bottom.

We loved these alternative wedding attire ideas from Sikihara.  The black pant suit was gorgeous in person and very classy.  We met the designer, who had pieces showing in the Runway Fashion Show that day, and she could not have been sweeter!

The cakes were exquisite, look at the detail! Desserts by Dana (on our preferred vendor list) was there on premise constructing a wedding cake during the show!  A 7 tier cake – talent!

How about this non-traditional wedding cake?  This beauty is called a croquembouche and is actually a typical wedding cake in France and Italy!  These French choux pastry balls are piled into a cone shape, and combined with caramel threads for sticking.  What a cool spin on an American style wedding cake!

No Bridal Show is complete without a string quartet!  The Philadelphia String Quartet was great, and even had a super cool rating system – an ipad immediate review – what a great idea!

Free samples of a roasted apple and butternut squash soup from Drexelbrook Catering was an added bonus…  And delicious!

One of our favorite parts of the convention was the “ring selfie station.”  It was one of the busiest booths!  Lots of great ideas for taking selfies of your wedding ring – from adding to a bed of sea glass, a bucket full of faux diamonds, a beach plate filled with sand and seashells, and the ever popular sprinkles ring selfie (take a handful of sprinkles and plop your ring in the middle!).  We definitely had fun playing… here were some of our shots…

Lastly, we will leave you with the beautiful, over-the-top floral designs we saw.  We could not get over the amazing pergola created right overtop of the sweetheart table.  How gorgeous would this be in our ceremony garden for an outdoor reception?!  (Ask us about our new Tented Reception Packages!)

This bride and groom cake topper was made entirely of paper!  How gorgeous are they?!

All in all, a very good showing of industry talent and ideas!  We can’t wait to go back next year!!  Leave us a comment and let us know what you think of it!

Until next time,
