Baywood Weddings: Kylie & Ricky
Planning with Kylie, Ricky, and their families was an absolute joy! From their time spent vacationing here (and now their time living here), they were familiar with Baywood and truly knew how to make their choices compliment Baywood's already spectacular views. The eggplant color they chose for their sashes and napkins looked stunning in our ballroom and perfectly complimented the oranges, purples, and greens that were used in their centerpieces. Their colors along with the tropical look and feel of our gardens made you feel like you were part of their paradise!
They chose some of our most highly recommended vendors and it showed. Rob Korb Photography did an absolutely outstanding job capturing their love for each other and the beauty of Baywood, Carolina Sugar Fairy made a perfectly elegant, yet simple, cake, DJ Joe Zahn (WiredUp Entertainment) had the crowd up and dancing all night long, and officiant Tom Protack truly made everyone believe in the power of love.
More importantly, what brought their day to life was the love they showed for each other and the love that surrounded them by their families and friends. The day was full of laughter, beauty, and most of all, fun!

Kylie & Ricky's Story...
Although we both grew up going down to Potnets Bayside every weekend in the Summer it wasn’t until the Summer of 2010 that we finally met. I worked at Bayside BBQ Bar & Grill (now known as Paradise Grill) and Ricky came in on the weekends with friends. One weekend in early August my Dad came up to the restaurant and, after speaking with a mutual friend, he came over and said, “apparently that Ricky Frazer guy is interested in you”. After finding out he was seven years older than me I instantly said, "we will have nothing in common and I‘m not interested." After a few weekends of Ricky trying to say hi and spark up a conversation while I was working (and me acting completely uninterested) one of my fellow co-workers nicely said "knock it off and just say hi to the guy!" And now here we are five and a half years later married, still going down to Pot-Nets Bayside every weekend in the Summer and enjoying time up at the place where it all started.
Before our big day we promised each other that regardless of what went wrong or what didn't go as planned - it didn't matter! We wanted to be focused on what this day really meant and being in the moment with each other and our family and friends. As we each got ready on May 15th we both were extremely excited, eager and slightly nervous, but at the same time we remember feeling so calm and carefree. I can't explain it any better than by saying we literally were high on life. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect from start to finish!
